Planning your big day should be a joy, not a chore. So why not make the music one less thing to worry about?
We have years of experience in making people's day extra special. We'll work with you to make sure every detail is covered and advise you on the best options to make sure your day runs without a hitch. We've answered some of the most common questions we get asked below, but if the answer you're looking for isn't here just get in touch and we'll do our best. 🎷
What music do you play?
Our sets are filled with a wide variety of music from Motown classics to current ‘top 40’. All our tunes have one thing in common – they will get you dancing! We pride ourselves on filling dance floors, so there's something for everyone - from Stevie Wonder, The Weeknd and Taylor Swift to Robin S and Bruno Mars. How long do you play for?
Our typical evening’s entertainment is two sets of at least 45-60 minutes each (or equivalent - we want to fit in with how you would like your evening to run). If you’d like even more music than our standard two 45-60 minute live sets we can quote for a third set as well. Get in touch and we can talk about what will work best for your big day.
How much space do you need?
We require minimum 15m2, though love to play on big stages! We've also been known to squeeze into the odd corner, so if you have any concerns, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
Do you have a price list?
Every event is different, so we'll put together a custom quote for you based on your requirements. To start things off, just drop us an email or fill in the form here and we'll get back to you quickly to talk things through.
How do I book?
To kick things off just get in touch using the details on this website, and then we'll have a conversation about your event and give you a written quote, taking into account all your requirements. Once you're happy with the quote we've supplied, we'll ask you to pay a small deposit to book in your event.
It's worth getting in touch as soon as you can as availability is limited and key dates can book up fast, particularly over the summer.
Do you take requests?
Our sets are carefully crafted to give everyone the best experience, so we don't take requests on the night.
We do offer to play one song of your choice - whether that's for your first dance or a dedication to a special person. Just let us know beforehand - we will ask about this as part of the booking process. There's no extra charge for this.
Can you provide background music or a DJ?
We can easily provide a background music playlist between our sets if required at no extra cost.
For an additional charge we can DJ after the band plays so you can party on into the night! Just let us know when you're booking and we can add it to the quote.
How long do you need to set up/pack down?
We aim to be as flexible and discreet as possible regarding when we set up for your event, and will do our best to fit in with your day. In general, we need around one hour to set up (with a few minutes to soundcheck) and the same to pack down. Please talk to us if the plan for your day means that we would need to set up before 4pm on the day of the event and / or finish later than 12 midnight - we will do our best to accommodate this.
Practicalities and paperwork 📝
Admin. It's not a fun job, but someone's got to do it (usually Mark.)
You'll be pleased to know we've got all the necessary paperwork in place. Often venues will have a requirement that we have the following but it's always best practice to have the correct policies in place anyway.
